DENIS MITCHELL   (1912 - 93)   Moved to St Ives, Cornwall, in 1930. Market gardener, tin miner and fisherman then worked as assistant to Barbara Hepworth from '49 - '59. His own work, mainly in bronze and wood, is highly respected. Shared a studio with John Wells.
